Why not?

I owned a 1987 4X4 Suzuki Samurai with a blown engine. I didn't want to fix the engine because it was under powered in the first place, only 64 hp. It was just nothing unique or different about it and that's not me. I looked at putting a VW diesel or a Geo tracker in it, but none of it was appealing. So I took off on a different adventure.
Here's what I started with:

II stripped her down and began the body work. I got rid of the top. Decided to make it a convertible. Made the doors where they would come off and the windshield where it would fold down.

I had bought a RevTech 110" motorcycle engine to use in my airplane. This ended up being a mistake. The RevTech was not a countered balanced engine. I had looked at one installed in a motorcycle and it appeared to run very smooth. After I installed it in my plane, it just vibrated entirely too much. So out it can and back in went my Harley counter balanced 95" engine. I had to do something with the RevTech, so I figured it would be just great in my Samurai. And, definitely a challenge. The RevTech is really a Harley knock off made in South Korea. It is 115 hp with 120 ft lbs of torque. It should make the little Sammy really scoot.
